Not too long ago my oldest son (he is 8) said to me at the dinner table, "Mom, guess what kind of hat I want."
I replied with the obvious answer (obvious in our house), "An Aggie's hat."
To my surprise he said, "No."
To which I replied, "What kind of hat do you want?"
His answer, "A Longhorn's hat."
Me, in a shocked voice, " A Longhorn's hat?"
"Yes" he replied, "a hat with the Longhorn's upside down and sawed off."
Oh my, oh my! Yes, we have taken this to an entirely new level!

10/20/08 Hi Julie. After I'd read this I asked dad what is a "Langehorn" hat - didn't know. Day or so later during a football game, hecame up & said "I know what kind of hat Jack wants & it's not "Langehorn". . .I now know too who the "Aggies" are cause Beth hung a shirt up to dry & that's what it said. Love - Grandma
